Springfield PA, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia received a $4,340 donation resulting from the Benefits That Benefit Children campaign, a cause marketing program through National Benefit Partners and US Employee Benefits Service Group-PA (aka Hillendale Associates) that provides donations to select children’s hospitals throughout the country. Springfield united on a common initiative that provides education, value, and excitement around the topic of their employee benefits and the necessity to know one’s own benefit programs. As such, more than 400 employees generated the donation by simply going through their regularly scheduled open enrollment and reviewing their options including a new voluntary benefit program offered by the school district. With such positive feedback and having a record number of participants (over 95%) attend the event, The School District of Springfield Township has become a Children’s Champion for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia creating real change in their community by helping to spread the message of charity and compassion across the region.
Thanks to the participation of the school and its employees representatives from the School District of Springfield Township presented the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a check for $4,340 at the School Board meeting.
